Inside Sales Representative – Equipment Sales

About the position:

Lanco Corp specializes in the buying, selling, trading and appraising of used metal finishing, e-coat, powder coat and waste treatment equipment. We have been in business over 45 years and have the world’s largest on-site inventory of used equipment in the industry.

We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated individual to handle inside sales in a small office environment.
The team member will be responsible for telephone sales, eBay sales, equipment inventory, cold calling and phone prospecting. Previous sales experience, mechanical knowledge and bachelor’s degree required. Strong organizational skills, previous CRM experience and computer knowledge are a must.

Full-time position with hours: Monday – Friday, 7:45am to 5:15 pm.

Inside Sales Representative / Inventory Specialist

RESPONDS TO:
Vice President

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

Sales:

  • Initiate daily calls to prospective companies for equipment sales & inventory purchases. Updates company information including – contact names & email addresses.
  • Maintains regular contact with current and past customers.
  • Searches web and print publication for NEW potential companies for sales calls.
  • Represents company during customer visits to warehouse.
  • Responds to customer inquires by preparing quotes, sending product information, investigating solutions and locating technical references.
  • Respond to eBay and website emails. Process eBay orders.

  • Represents company during customer visits to warehouse.
  • Responds to customer inquires by preparing quotes, sending product information, investigating solutions and locating technical references.
  • Respond to eBay and website emails. Process eBay orders.
  • Conducts timely follow-up calls on quotes and materials sent.
  • Negotiates with customer where appropriate to secure satisfaction by both parties.
  • Prepares work orders for equipment sales.
  • Assists with weekly marketing campaigns
  • Contributes to marketing program enrichment through new ideas.
  • Search web for good used equipment available for sale.
  • Assists with preparation for trade shows/conventions; represents company at shows, if appropriate.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Inventory & Data Management::

  • Compiles information on new equipment acquisitions by researching equipment, preparing information sheets, creating YouTube videos.
  • Verifies accuracy of equipment inventory listings. Updates listings as needed.
  • Maintains technical files on equipment, conducting research as needed.
  • Assists other sales team members with technical and data support.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
